STEM OLYMPICS

The STEM Olympics is designed for students from Grades 4 to 12. At this popular event, participants collaborate as a team and compete with other teams as they demonstrate their science skills and knowledge. The competition is held yearly in October.

In addition to the STEM Olympics and to reach a larger population, the new Hybrid STEM Olympics will be running in the Fall, Winter and Spring for participants who cannot travel and compete in person.

STEM EXPO

The STEM Expo is for students from Grades 5 to 12, who complete an inquiry-based project, and then display their findings at an exhibit. Participants have the opportunity to show their scientific knowledge and skills while competing against other students in their age group.

ROBOTICS CHALLENGES

The Robotics Challenge is a competition for students from grades 6 to 12. Through it, participants display their skills in programming a robot to execute specific tasks.

WEEKLY STEM CHALLENGES

Weekly STEM challenges for youth aged 6 to 12 provide an engaging platform for young minds to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a fun and interactive way. Each week, participants tackle a new challenge that encourages creativity and critical thinking, whether it's building a bridge from everyday materials, coding a simple game, or conducting a hands-on science experiment

STRATOS BALLOON LAUNCH

The launch of STRATOS balloons showcase youth involvement in scientific exploration. Equipped with student-designed experiments, these high-altitude balloons ascended into the stratosphere, allowing young minds to test their hypotheses. This initiative fosters interest in STEM and empowers the next generation of scientists to engage in research, symbolizing the potential for fresh perspectives in inquiry.

ROCKET LAUNCH

Students designing, building, and launching experimental rockets engage in a hands-on experience that combines physics, engineering, and teamwork. They brainstorm designs, select materials, and apply aerodynamics to optimize flight. Through testing and launching, they refine their creations, developing problem-solving skills and creativity. The excitement of seeing their rockets soar reinforces their scientific knowledge and ignites a passion for aerospace exploration.

SCIENCE CAMPS

The Science Camp delivers unique and hands-on science programs during PD Days, March Break and all summer long. Simple and practical activities are presented to participants by science enthusiasts who love applying science in real-world scenarios. Come join the fun! Participants of the Science Expedition can expect:
 

  • Bilingual programs delivered by motivated Expedition Leaders

  • A variety of daily themes with a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics)

  • Sample themes include Digital World, Kitchen Chemistry, Rockets and Propulsion, and much more!

  • Make it and take it activities let you create memories all summer long!

  • Field trips close to nature during the camp

  • Adult supervision at all times
