Every year Science Timmins selects six participants to represent the Northeastern Ontario region at the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) sponsored by the Youth Science Foundation Canada. They will join the rest of team Ontario to live an experience of a lifetime.

This year CWSF will be held in Saguenay Quebec from May 13 th to the 21st. At the CWSF the participants experience a full week of scientific, cultural and social activities.

Many prizes are awarded to projects from different categories such as:

Life Science	Automotive	Physical and Mathematical
Health Science	Biotechnology	Engineering and Computing
Earth and Environmental Science
